My favorite Danny Kaye film of all time. It has a great combination of witty lines and witty songs. Not to mention, a young Angela Lansbury and Basil Rathbone. Danny Kaye really shines in this one with his singing, dancing and overall acting ability.
If you are looking for a good musical comedy this is it. If you enjoy movies like the Princess Bride, I recommend this highly. Just remember, "The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.
