Review of The Court Jester (1955) by Lani D — 30 Jan 2009
Where have the days of quick wit and sharp writing gone? This is a great spoof of Robin Hood and The Scarlet Pimpernel type adventures of old. The dialog is sharp and Danny Kaye is at his utmost best as the bumbling but likable jester with a gift of the gab.
How could anyone forget the vessel with the pestle?
