Review of The Country Girl (1954) by Bob W — 25 Feb 2008
The movie is remembered best for great performances by Kelly and Crosby. Holden is good too. The love story falls flat for me though, and some of the dialogue is so contrived I almost laughed. But just as Crosby comments early in the picture, there's no hiding Grace Kelly's nobility and beauty no matter how they tried through much of this one.
