Review of The Country Bears (2002) by Isaac J — 22 Oct 2018
It's cheesy, corny, predictable, and weird, but I love it! I'm totally biased and have a strong nostalgic connection to it, nevertheless it's still entertaining as heck and it has a good cast, even if they just collected a paycheck on this one. The music is the shining star of this film, John Hiatt's music, even if his voice could be an aqquired taste, is great and the animatronic work done by Jim Henson's company is good enough to suspend your disbelief and like these character stuff for what they are.
"That guy looks like Elton John? Nah, Elton John's taller.".
