Review of The Counterfeiters (2007) by Dave B — 26 Jul 2009
An excellent and remarkable film. Not as harrowing as Schindler's List; it is very tense, as they come to terms with working for the Nazi war effort, staying alive and the horrors of the concentration camp outside their enclave.
A dark sense of humour and a tense claustrophobia. Make this a compelling film of life in the face of adversity.
