Wordy and eventually pointless.
Scott never managed to make a film, he shot the novel (killed it I mean).
In the end the plot is just what we expected.
A night guard in a cheap hotel in Mexico, petty thieves and drug dealers all speak like Zarathustra. Here's a bore worse than ten Mallick flicks.
