Ridley Scott, a bunch of top actors, what could go wrong?
In fact, almost everything, with the absence of a story, unnecessary sex or gore scenes, pompous lecture about the meaning of life by the leader of a drug cartel... Even Fassbender (Mr. Serious) can hardly play seriously.
The only new thing worth watching is Bardem's new haircut for the role who is now starting to be in serious competition with Nicolas Cage !
It's just a Soderberg wannabe movie. We could expect this from a small director trying to impress his fellows, but not Ridley Scott !
