Review of The Counselor (2013) by Nathan G — 01 Mar 2014
It's not that it's a bad movie... I'm sorry, that is understated, it's a really bad movie. Thick on dialogue, but short on both plot and resolution, "The Counselor" is a true waste of an ensemble cast of talented actors.
It feels as if Cormac McCarthy's script was intentionally written to confuse the audience, and Ridley Scott's direction is equally lackluster. A very disappointing film experience to say the least.
