Review of The Counselor (2013) by Borhan K — 16 Mar 2014
The Counselor is a movie that has awesome names in it and a great director but that's all it has.
I felt this movie first of all is a movie that is too long and really for the first hour try to set up for the climax of the movie.
Maybe I did not get the movie but I really feel it was disappointing.
Ridley Scott I feel really made a lackluster movie on this one.
For an hour you sit here saying I hope the movie picks up a pulse but no even in its setup it flat lines.
A non action adult thriller that is only really suitable for the adults because it has a few elements that make it different from others and these aspects are the only reasons why this movie would be remembered for and nothing else.
1. it had two big cats and two head decapitations one a motorbike rider gets setup and gets his head chopped off due to a wire on a highway.
Also the second one of the main characters deaths is pretty awesome when you find out who dies you won't see that coming.
For me this is a one time movie and never again.
Not suitable for the kiddies.
