Review of The Counselor (2013) by Mique W — 19 Mar 2014

We see the characters emote feelings of helplessness, yet, I couldn't figure out why the hell they felt that way to begin with, I could barely even decipher what the hell was happening on screen. So much "philosophical" mumbo jumbo is hurled around out of nowhere but, for what? Cormac McCarthy's screenplay, I'm sure, looked much better on paper.

We get it, he's a brilliant author who probably wrote this movie from many different people's points of view, but, he fails to make them all come together in the end.
