Review of The Counselor (2013) by Faisal S — 28 Apr 2014
A film that had the potential to be one of the best films of 2013 just falls apart disastrously. The cast (apart from Michael Fassbender) is completely wasted and the writing and direction is poor knowing that the writer is Cormac McCathy and directed by Ridley Scott.
The narrative is clumsy, all over the place and there's a scene where Cameron Diaz humps a car...........this film's arrogance fails on a great spectrum in which you should avoid at all costs.
