A good director, good actors, and a good writer, but a shitty movie. I mean, Cameron Diaz is the mastermind, for fuck's sake. Really, it's a simple, weak, flimsy story, with scarcely a line of dialogue that didn't make my eyes roll, made worse not better by its nihilistic/metaphysical musings on the meaning of death/life which naturally accompany its cheap sentimental philistine petty-bourgeois love story and morality.
