Review of The Cosmic Man (1959) by Scott W — 13 Feb 2011
I've always enjoyed The Cosmic Man despite it being a cheap remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. John Carradine is sympathetic as the titular character appearing first as a wraith like figure peering through windows in negative and later disguised in anorak, glasses and a hat befriending a crippled boy.
The military and an A-Bomb scientist flesh out the story and of course Little Scotty Morrow walks again thanks to The Cosmic Man!
