I'll be the first person to tell you that corporations are severely flawed, but this was a bit too leftist, even for me. It had some good stories and some good information, but I got the idea that government owning everything is the answer.
They say that multi-national corporations need to be accountable to the government. But what government? The one they're headquartered in? The ones they're operating in? There's no way for corporations to be accountable to a government unless the UN gets some teeth.
It never will, so that's why these corporations should hire people like me to make sure they are being socially responsible and sustainable :). I think corporations should internalize accountability and be responsible because it's the right thing to do.
