What can I say? The film is trying to imitate "Armageddon" (yet it passes it by a millimeter): the characters act quirky; the film has an uncomfortable, intense feeling, not-so-serious dialogue, unspectacular special effects (actually, they aren't exactly special), several people die in tragic deaths, & plenty of geological errors.
Talk about being boring & miserable.
