Review of The Cooler (2003) by Billy W — 28 Mar 2008
The synopsis is right on... First of all, William H. Macy plays this role PERFECTLY- from the start, his character appears to be the quintessential Cooler, with enough depression to bum out a baby shower.
His character development in the movie is sublime: you can feel him come out of his depression and start to come alive- and the movie reflects his changing luck. This was a good combination of script, actor, and director.
A must see!
