Yes it's somewhat predictable, but what makes this film incredibly entertaining are the actor's performances and the way the story is told. Alec Baldwin is great, as is Macy. I love the tracking of Bernie's transformation from the beginning, it's done well.
The sets, the music, and the overall vibe is very cool.
