Review of The Cooler (2003) by Matt O — 15 May 2008
Very cool little flick. Bill Macy, Maria Bello and Ron Livingston are a joy to watch. Alec Baldwin gives a HUGE performance - if nothing else, watch this movie to see Baldwin play the old dog losing his way of life to 'new Vegas'.
The ending was a bit too convenient and pat for me, but otherwise, a really fun film with great character work and direction.
