Review of The Constant Gardener (2005) by Michael D — 12 May 2009
Was really slow to start.. Was actually getting bored and wondering where it was going, not really into the whole love affair mystery kind of thing. But then around 40 minutes into it Ralph Fiennes and the whole film just shifted gears and got a lot more interesting as it pulled you into their little world with their big conspiracy.
Was well acted and believable as the behaviour of characters was consistent, and not suddenly changing like in some movies where it seems not just does everyone have a motive but they're also schizophrenic.
Turned out to be quite sad but very interesting, springs a few thoughts into your head but nothing new. All around a pretty damn good film.
