A thriller that hides its true nature behind suspense and political intrigue. At it's core it is a love story about two very different people who realise their similarities and become truly devoted to one another; the emotion conveyed by Ralph Fiennes at the film's conclusion is raw, passionate and electrifying.
He is in love; and that is the reason he has gone through the entirety of the film on a mission of redemption.
