Review of The Constant Gardener (2005) by Huw G — 06 Mar 2010
The good point about this movie is the combination of the classic spies/thriller genre (this movie is based on a novel by John Le Carre, with some very clear indications about that), with the social point of life that Fernando Meirelles get to print it with.
Ralph Fiennes does perfect as this cautious, always trying to seem insignificant diplomatic, while Rachel Weisz makes a wonderful performance as the reference of all the movie, and gives the emotion to the story.
Strong story with feelings and messages powerful as bullets.
