"The Constant Gardener" is the most thrilling of the John le Carre film adaptations, but that's not really saying much. No, despite the gritty, documentary-like camerawork and a handful of chase scenes, it'd be an understatement if I said I was bored.
Hell, I can't believe I understood what was going on half of the time, given the amount of attention I was paying to the script. But that's just me, and I don't prefer films like "The Constant Gardener.
" It's a good piece of cinema; just not for me.
