Has anyone made 2 movies in a row as consistanly brilliant as Meirelles? As great as Fiennes performance is, Meirelles is the star. The movie's composition is sublime. For a thriller, the complete storyline is completely believable.
Not once did I say to myself, "Come on, no way would that happen." I can't believe I will see a better movie this year.
