Review of The Conspirator (2011) by Joe C — 23 Jul 2011
As someone who reads and watches all things on The Civil War, I found this story compelling. Although I admit to not knowing much about this event other than the result of the Lincoln assassination. If poetic license wasn't taken with this project, then I will have learned a great deal more regarding the turmoil this country experienced after Lincoln's murder.
As a movie I didn't find the acting to be very passionate considering the emotions that must have been rampant at that time. I still gave it high marks for the detail put into the sets and time-frame.
