Surprisingly accurate as far as history is concerned, especially for Hollywood. The historical accuracy of the events concerning the assassination of President Lincoln and what happened afterward makes this film worthy of seeing.
Supported by a top notch cast giving excellent performances also makes it enjoyable. However this is hardly the "thriller" it was advertised to be. Rather just the opposite, being slow and sometimes down right boring in some parts.
Despite that though I would say that its still worth seeing, especially for anyone interested in history.
