Wow. This movie could have been so good. I'm not sure if the script was to blame or the direction, but what a disappointment. It's a shame because they obviously had the budget -- sets and costumes were incredible.
James McAvoy was the only cast member who didn't deliver his lines like he was in a high school play. I'm not sure how Redford could make a mess of such a potentially compelling story, but he did.
