Review of The Conspirator (2011) by Bruno L — 09 Sep 2011
This emotionally restrained telling of the Mary Surratt trial portrays the abuses of government and judiciary in times of volatile public emotion. Brilliantly directed with a few inaccurate facts but that was all but forgotten by the great acting done by all involved.
The cinematography was also beautiful.
