An OK historical drama about the trial of Mary Surratt who was accused of plotting to kill Lincoln. Filmed in a gauzy haze with muted colors, I presume to make it look like it took place a long time ago.
That was kind of annoying. Redford's politics also shine through. Otherwise it was an interesting court room drama. Recommended for period film fans.
