Review of The Conspirator (2011) by Dan K — 01 Jul 2012
This totally isn't my type of movie, yet I started watching it and got sucked in... which really says something about the film. A majority of the film is a court-room drama, which I question shooting a whole movie inside because the trial was apparently unfair.
.. so anytime you were like: "wait that doesn't make sense..." it was just revealed to be due to the unfairness of the court... but behind this courtroom drama is a really well developed set of characters and a very interesting (apparently) real historical event.
