Review of The Conspirator (2011) by Peter P — 08 Aug 2012
Well made and acted story about the trial of a woman that was believed to have been a part of the plot to kill President Lincoln, and how she was not given a fair trial in one of the first government cover ups that would have made Lincoln sick to see.
James McAvoy and Robin Penn both shine in this, and the direction from Robert Redford is right on for the tone of the movie.
