Review of The Conspiracy (2012) by Hugo G — 20 May 2015
6.5/10.
It was in fact a very unsettling found footage movie in the form of a documentary, because not only does it make you think about what you just seen but it makes you doubt about what you know and believe, which is scary. And although you know it's not real there's always the doubt of the origin of everything. Therefore, it was interesting kind of creepy, and although it looked and felt more like a movie than a "documentary" and the acting wasn't always as good as you hoped for, it was engaging enough to make you believe some of the stuff they presented, and that was enough to creep me out.
