This is a pretty scary horror, I'm not sure I would have wanted to watch this alone. I also enjoyed the homages payed to lots of good horrors of the past; some subtle and some not so much. You can also have fun spotting the references.
I noticed The Birds, Poltergeist, The Amytiville Horror, Paranormal Activity, Childs Play, The Exorcist, The Ring, and Secret Window. I can't put my finger on the one where the clocks stop but I know I've seen it before.
