Real or not, The Conjuring is a fantastic horror movie loaded to the brim that combines new conventions with old school ones. The Conjuring uses them well to depict this all too true case that famous paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, embarked upon.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson portray these two people like no other actors have done, the rest of the cast is not too shabby. The Conjuring has a solid narrative, a strong cast and plenty of scares.
