Review of The Conjuring (2013) by Nico S — 24 May 2015
I remember only giving this movie 3 1/2 stars because there weren't enough jump scares. I rewatched The Conjuring and now can appreciate the lack of jump scares, and the abundance of creepy moments and the creepy atmosphere throughout the movie.
Wan does an excellent job with the atmosphere and he truly understands how to get under your skin the old fashioned way.
