Review of The Conjuring (2013) by Adam V — 26 Nov 2017
Based on a true story? Check. Demons involved? Check. Scare the living daylights out of you? Check. The premise is something we've seen countless times before, so there's not many points here for originality, but 'The Conjuring' goes about presenting its classic horror story using all the tricks in the book, with great camerawork, sets and lighting, as well as a creepy score.
This one just goes to show that you don't have to reinvent the wheel and that the classic horror story still has more than enough life in it to make your blood run cold.
