Review of The Conjuring (2013) by Rogga F — 09 Jun 2014
It's under horror for being horrible not for being horrifying. It has a few jump scares and some other unnecessary bull shit. I was falling asleep throughout the movie and after I left the theater I didn't know if I should be ashamed, disappointed, or angry...but scared wasn't one of the options. Hope they end up canceling the planed sequel...but I doubt they will because of the success rate. You want to see something scary? Watch any movie of the Scary Movie series, except 4 or 5. The story was...meh...the acting was decent, I was surprised how good the child actors were compared to others, the makeup effects are not that good but it won't matter as much since it's usually covered by shadows and shit. It's one of those rental, late Friday night movie for $1 at a Redbox.
IMPORTANT: Careful who u watch this movie with it can be either very annoying (girl or friends who scream for nothing) or very fun...(I watched it with my father and laughed our asses off making fun of it afterwards).
