I normally don't like scary movies (not just because I scare easy, but because I often find the scare isn't worth it because the writing/story is so bad), but The Conjuring is so well done that I couldn't help but love it (the only scary movie I've ever said that about).
The story is simply fascinating. Well worth the scare :).
