The movie is overrated on the scare factor. After hearing so many people talk about how scary it was. I figured I would be sleeping with the lights on. I didn't find it scary at all but in the end it still wasn't a bad movie.
The acting was pretty decent and the effects weren't bad. If you want to see a movie for a scare factor watch The Exorcist (1973).
