Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Wilson P — 27 Jun 2016
One of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time and what makes it so much more impressive is that is a follow up to another really good horror film. The characters are so well rounded and you care about them, the warrens are a highlight as well as the little girl in this movie. The scares are all genuine and what makes them so good is the cinematography. James.
Wan really knows when to use close ups, POV shots, and other camera angles to his advantage. In a decade where most horror movies are cheap cash grabs that just use fake jumps scares, this is an.
Amazingly refreshing entry into the horror genre and another triumph for director James Wan.
