Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Filipe P — 02 Jul 2016
Although it inadvertently falls to familiar territory, The Conjuring 2 masterfully overcomes any fears of losing its gripping athomosphere, highing the stakes from its predecessor with delightful visuals and a surprisingly enganging way of storytelling, with Wilson, Farmiga and new-comer Madison Wolfe deliviring what might be some of their best performances while providing some of the most crucials elements to truly itensify the chills the movie has to offer -- basically, another prime example of Wan's effective comfort in the horror genre.
