Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Ryan C — 07 Jul 2016
It's hard to follow up with a great sequel when the original is so fantastic, but James Wan manages to make "The Conjuring 2" another must see horror flick. While it may run long for a horror film, it allows the characters and the "true story" to play out in such a haunting and thrilling way.
It all begins with the Warren couple working the very famous Amityville case and it goes horrid, especially for Lorraine and it causes the couple to take a break. However, a terrible poltergeist is haunting a family in London and the Warrens are desperately called on to help the family and to get rid of it. They reluctantly go and once again, all hell breaks loose.
"The Conjuring 2" doesn't seem to be as plausible as the first, but it's a well-crafted, hair-raising, goosebumps-giving thrill ride.
