Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Dylan K — 13 Sep 2016

I really enjoyed the first film and found this to continue the story in a respectful manner. This true story was plagued with hoaxes and I was happy to see how the Warrens even became skeptics during this demonic battle.

I'm not entirely convinced with the hauntings but they do make realistic horror films. Wan is the heart of this series and probably should stay for one more entry. I am a huge fan of this franchise and I hope they keep the storytelling at this highest level.

Not as scary as the first film but this has so much more going on and you can't fault the creators for placing a little doubt into the mix. This was a very high profile case.
