I think it is a better sequel from the original one and its spin off.
They embraced the weirdness and the horror and they ran with it.
It wasn't that scary though... you keep looking for hoaxes and maybe they all look like one!
Everything can be rationalized :).
Anyways I enjoyed it and I'll give it an 8/10.
