Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Wade W — 07 Oct 2016
The Conjuring 2 is every bit as good as the original. Wan directs with poise while Farmiga and Wilson are back as the demon-banishing Warrens we already know and love. The horror and scares this time around come often and are super effective.
The story has depth and weight, carrying the movie along with superb pacing. A satisfying ending caps off another victory for this series of films. I hope and pray there is a third one.
