Horror sequels can be another horrible film following from it's predecessor's success that most filmmakers just want some money without any effort and interesting stuff to show,they are just blatantly lazy.
Conjuring 2 didn't follow that but instead brought us new interesting things to this franchise with a captivating story and a hunting and creepy atmosphere,it is a well directed horror sequel.The performances were amazing,the chemistry of the Warrens was just marvelous and so thus the children in the film they were also excellent.
As the film progress the tension gets higher and also thus the apprehension.
