Hampered by an over reliance on CGI and a maudlin acoustic guitar cover of Elvis's "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Patrick Wilson's character, Director James Wan manages to *ahem* conjure up eerie scares that are just as terrifying as the ones that frightened us to death in the first instalment.
Well done Mr. wan!
