Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Caf E — 20 Feb 2017
James Wan's 'Conjuring 2' predictably isn't as good as the original, but, wow, Wan has found his niche with he Conjuring series. There's a romance story interwoven with a horror film. It's beautifully shot, with the music or silence that fits each scene. It's fresh, it's engaging and most importantly it's well acted.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga play the husband and wife exorcist team to perfection. Usually the horror movies come with kids who take away from the experience, but not here. It's a totally worthwhile follow up to the original. Final Score 8.0/10.
