Review of The Condemned (2007) by Adam B — 19 Aug 2008
A movie that proves that no matter how limited a budget, or a cast for that matter, quality will always show, and this film is action and badassery of the highest order. Steve Austin is brilliant, playing the same person he has for the last 20 years, and looking good on it.
Vinnie Jones is a great charicature baddie, and the rest of the rag tag mob all look perfectly cast. Th dialogue is pithy and fun, the action is intense and uncompromising, and beneath all of the silliness there are real messages and questions being asked.
I loved it.
