Another great WWE venture, and you can tell where they spend the money. It ain't on script. Basic concept to all WWE films seems to be go out and find another movie that we can rip-off with one of our guys.
In this case, Battle Royale. Only, instead of stroppy asian schoolkids, we'll have pumped up criminals. From death row. Mass murderers and rapists. And expect the audience to feel sympathy for them when we make them go kaboom.
Steve Austin and Vinnie Jones being the big names, struggling with a loose plot, questionable taste, and some fairly decent action. Let's face it. It was never going to be an Oscar winner - but it really could have been so much worse.
