This is what happens when you make Battle Royale with muscle clad warriors, all action with no substance... since they are condemned death row prisoners how come the action is tame? the ratings board had a better chance (and probably a better box office) by giving it a pg-13 rating especially since most don't line up for the thespian skills of stone cold that weren't over the age of 13 anyway; but on the positive side let's give it up for vinnie jones, who unlike most actors working, seems to always bring some sort of relish to roles regardless of how mundane they a.
